Thought I had already put these up

I guess I dreamed that I did it, or maybe since I uploaded them, I thought I was done.

Pictures update

Here are some pictures I've taken lately. Sorry it's been so long!

Here is the quilt my mom made for Peanut. It turned out great. In this picture, the color doesn't look right, but at least you can see the design. I am going to have to search around to find two pillows that are more the same size. But you can't tell when she has her stuffed animals on there.

Here is a funny story about Peanut. They were invited to a birthday party at the big science museum last weekend. It was for the neighbor boy that she really likes to play with. The only thing she was not looking forward to was that the boy has a friend who is kind of bratty. She didn't want to be around him because he tends to be mean. He is the kind of kid that will say stuff like, "No girls can play with us, so you have to leave!"

After the party, she said that she was surprised that he did not act mean. She said he even tried to hold her hand! Then she wanted to go down the big slide that is two stories high. He was up there when she got ready to go down. She said that she hadn't been down that slide yet, so he said, "Well, maybe you should go down with me, so you don't freak out!" That was funny! I have tried not to tease her about it too much, though.

Growing up boy

We had a little fun today. This is supposed to be the last nice day this week, so we took a little outing to Snipits to get Bubby's first haircut. Here is the best "before" shot I could get. You would think that being strapped in a car seat would keep him still, but it doesn't work that well.

Snipits is fun and pretty expen$ive. It costs a lot less to get my own hair cut, but they do a good job, and this was something I did not want to attempt on my own. They were very prepared with bubbles, animal crackers, a video, and a fast hairstylist who did not monkey around and just got it done. Very nice.

Here he is, being a brave boy, but that is a little tear on his cheek, sorry to say. But he did not cry much.

We are waiting to surprise Daddy. He is going to be so proud!

Aother cool thing to watch

Came up with this from stumbleupon.com. This is so cool. You can speed it up or slow it down. My kids loved it too.

(Don't sign up for stumbleupon, because you will spend so much time on it! Well, you've been warned...
